About the Developer
The creator behind PokeVault and the vision that shaped this prototype.
Who I Am
My name is Seth E. Rester. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology with a strong interest in information systems, cataloging tools, and user-focused application design. I enjoy building tools that solve real problems for everyday users — especially collectors and hobbyists.
PokeVault was created as part of my academic work and personal passion for trading card games. It combines my interests in IT, database structure, UI design, and collection management.
Why I Built PokeVault
- To provide collectors with a clean, centralized way to track Pokémon card sets.
- To merge visual card browsing with practical collection data.
- To make collection management easier and more organized.
- To demonstrate how technology can improve the collecting experience.
My Vision
My goal for PokeVault is to create an easy-to-use platform where collectors can organize their collections, explore card sets, and keep track of the cards they own.
This prototype represents the beginning of that idea and demonstrates how a future collection-management system could look and function.
